[If you have gone as far as I think you have, you might a well get that body off, and get that frame cleaned up, repaired if necessary, and painted or powder coated. ]

ok i just wanted to double check, because i was reading another forum post for a 38 i think and they were saying not to remove it because its a pain to reattach.

john those bolts that you were talking about i got those i think. those are the ones that bolt to a bracket thats welded to the back of the frame right? i was curious i saw some long ones that look...

yeah i have all the fenders and running boards off and took all the side bolts off and the bolts that were in the passenger compartment. we were wanting to reinforce it just in case cause where it...

Im restoring my dads 1935 five window coupe. its been sitting for about 30 years, and we were thinking about detaching the body from the frame to reinforce and powder coat the frame and weve taken...
