V8 or I6? sounds like stuck rings, I am working on a 49 truck that has sat for 18 years, soaked the pistons/rings with ATF and acetone, when I let this mixture sit for 10 days in the engine...

with the new systems you can use the conversion coatings then paint with enamel, do not use hardener. also you can get sems Vinal paint and larger auto body shop suppliers can color match for you. ...

BS Ford did have a sliding rear window in a 41 truck, more prevalent in canada than in us but they were offered. have on in my 41
