Check your vacuum advance on the distributor. I had similar problem with my 460, advance wasn't working. I installed new one problem solved.

Just went through the same thing on my 57 mercury. I have a spare WCFB so I disassembled it. Big mistake lots of parts. Ended up spraying carb cleaner in the inlet, then removing the inspection plug...

We have done a garage tour but only to my house,hard to get other members to participate at their house. I'll look into a business place for a tour.

Club cruises

Our local club has a monthly cruise,we seem to to stuck in a rut. Same ole thing,donuts n coffee then drive around town. What are some things your clubs do for monthly events?

Yes Mike ,he was a friend of mine for years. Wish I could have purchased more of his cars. Gene and Marie were good people.
