Model T engine found 7 feet underground
I thought this was kind of neat. Construction crews working on Mercer Street in downtown Seattle found this engine while rebuilding the road. It was 7 feet under the current road elevation.

The Santa Fe trail went from Colombia, Missouri (roughly) to Santa Fe, New Mexico(hence the name). So I'm not quite sure why they are referring to the Santa Fe trail west of Santa Fe.
