The rust doesn't look too...

Sounds like the deflector that separates the two bulbs may be broken or missing.
If the light looks 'dimmer' than the other...

First - the wheel bolts have a shoulder (that you'll swedge against) that could interfere with the wheel seating properly
Second - Welding the bolt...

Re: speedometer niose

Mine started squealing and 'thumping' just before it twisted off my brand new cable
The head was dry and very hard to run on a drill, I tried penetrant and lube - had to do a complete tear down and...

Re: Temp gauges for the A

I'm putting gauges in mine, just because I want to have some idea of what's going on
I've got too much blood, sweat, and skin cells (and money) invested

Re: coupe rubber window moulding

That's how I did mine -
I just made sure it was room temp, some good heavy duty duct tape, stretch the rubber tight enough to flatten out the wrinkles on the corners
tape on all 4 sides as you work...

Re: starter pushrod grommet

If you are carefull (and patient) with a cotter pin puller or an icepick, you can dig the old one out, the new one will be soft enough, and with a little soap, I changed mine without cutting out the...

I had trouble with mine, no matter how you set them, the headlight would go back to the same position when you tighten the nut.
I had to drill out...
