Re: Mystery Heater

I found that a 1978-1982 Ford E-150 heater core fits this heater perfectly.
I have one of these in my 36 pick up and I removed the fan, motor, and defroster unit and replaced it with a 7" fan used...

Re: New to the Y Block!

It seems like years ago when I did a Y block, I got the head gaskets on wrong which apparently is easy to do. Get them on wrong and the water doesn't flow right and the engine over heats and things...

Re: 1936 suspension lowering question

Ol' Ron--how much ill effect would lengthening the shackles by 1" to a stock axle? I plan on adding panhard and sway bar. I figure the 1 inch would get a net lowering of 3/4" since the shackle lays...

Re: removing dash 36 Ford Pickup

I decided not to remove the dash. Too much effort for little return. Thanks for your input. Also does anyone know if the passenger 1934 regulator work?

Re: removing dash 36 Ford Pickup

I now see that the dash is welded on each side, and not bolted in on the sides from the hinge fasteners. I am going to remove it anyway, to better blast the area and fix up the vent pivot, which...

removing dash 36 Ford Pickup

Is this easy? It appears that it is spot welded thru the lower windshield opening. By removing these spot welds and the side bolts, will the dash lower and be removable? Also, on a related note- is...
