One trick is to also put a nail or pin or something in the little hole drilled in the axel for the cotter pin... Sometimes you really need to put a lot of pressure on the axel with the puller and...

best overdrive for the $$
Hello All,
The next big thing for my model A is an overdrive.
My current set up is 4.10 gears on 16" v8 rims in a sedan.
what overdrives are the best bang for your buck?

Radiator leak from nowhere...
The other day I jacked up the drivers side wheel to check the brakes... and out of nowhere the radiator started leaking... ONLY when on the jack stand (lifted). I couldn't locate any pools of coolant...

they are also refereed to as tachometers and you'll probably have better luck using it...

I agree completely here... I rebuilt the gas gauge a while ago and the available parts could have come out of a cracker jack box compared to the original equipment.

great advise above!
it may seen obvious but be sure to check the oil for metallic chips of any sort... also be super sure to install the bearing grease cup between the transmission and drive line...

We just did a gas gauge clinic in our club... Al's is correct to my knowledge too, when the F is pegged at the top of the tank and in the center of the window, with a relatively straight float rod...
