Thanks `40 Cpe and V8COOPMAN. I will try this procedure in the Spring. In the meantime I'll try blocking the clutch pedal down.
Believe me, I have missed the 'Barn too!

Clutch Issue On My `35
My`35 Cabriolet has been sitting for awhile and now the clutch won't release. The pedal travel is good, just won't release. It was fine when parked. Thanks.

I saw one years ago at a car show in Ohio with a four cylinder engine. Owner said it was a tractor engine and it left the factory that way.

Sounds like pre-ignition but it can't run backwards but for a few revolutions. The pistons would shove the fuel back to the carburetor.
