Re: 4 post lifts
I also have 2 4-post lifts and a 2 post. I use the 4 posts mostly to store 2 cars. The 2 post does it all including storing one in the air.

Re: 4 post lifts
I have a Bend-Pak scissors lift , my latest one. Very disappointed it was made in China. The instructions were a jumble of English and misleading. It called for a 1 1/4 masonry bit which was...

Re: Rust remover
I ordered one last December and still don't have it. Unable to make any contact with the " foreign" vender.

Re: Deluxe front end on 40 pickup ?
As they say, hang the hood first, which is what I did. I then grafted the sides of an old junk '39 deluxe I had. By hanging the hood first I could then see it only required small pieces on the cowl...

Re: Funny story
I always thought it was to either keep the chickens out or in some parts of the country to keep them in. Coupes are for chickens. I have a roadster.

Re: The cars that made America.
When Henry introduced the new 1928 Model A it was really new. It was a 1931 slant windshield Model A. Series is full of crap like that.

Re: Draglink zerk problem
If the zerk is bottomed out it will prevent grease form flowing. Back out a little and see if that works. Worked for me.

Re: Merc or Ford rods ?
I used a 4" crank and 3 3/4 pistons. 2 head gaskets make for the proper clearance and just right compression. I run in my flathead vintage dragster. I can leave the line at 3500 rpm and spin the...

Re: Iowa Auction
I can agree with Jeff. They have a collector car auction once a year in Hamilton that is first class. I sold my '50 Ford there last year and was very satisfied. An all day deal that lasted well past...

Did that in 2002 for Bonneville as a spectator. Bitten by the Salt Bug, I returned the next year with a race car.
