Re: Manifold Cooker

Tom, do not expect quick results from the cooker. It takes a good drive to completely cook a meal. My wife and myself have used one, but like I said, it is slow.

Re: Langs Annual cookout and tour

To drive from Texas is a bit too far but the Brewing Co stop sure would be tempting.
I will have to wait until Hershey swap meet to visit with the Langs.

Engine is an earlier engine, but a 1910 did not have a cover over the valve stems.

Re: Need help!

I have a 1923 touring that looks a lot like the 1924 in the picture. Mine is also red without a top. I used to call it my "Beer Drinking Car"/ Courting car and I have had it about 45 years. It...

Re: what's better wood or wire wheels?

Wire wheels seem to be totally maintenance free. Wood spokes sometime get loose and can be tightened fairly easily. If wood spokes do get loose, do not continue to drive as they will continue to get...

Re: Dodge Bros. symbols on Ford Motor Co. parts

Re: Brought Home a 22 Touring

Some time in mid 1923 the tall radiator was introduced
Also in early 1923 the metal fire wall was introduced and latter in the year it was tall and wider to go with the taller radiator. (The...

Re: Model T Snowmobile Kit, Tracks and Skis for sale

If I knew we will get snow in the next 10 years or less, I would be interested.
With my luck, I would not get to use the snow mobile ever. (Old age is slowing me up a lot)

Re: What's a TT Truck Windshield Frame Look Like?:

I think this is the square cab windshield you are talking about.
I will try to attach a few pictures.

Re: Model T spinners?

Steve, just looking at them, I can not tell what is forward or backward.
I like accessories that look different and I am sure I would put them on one of my cars if they were mine. (Maybe a little...

Re: 32 model BB (4 cyl)

1932BB, I was just wondering if there are some BB trucks still being restored. At this time, pictures are next to impossible as the truck is in a corner of the garage and darn near covered with...

Smile 32 model BB (4 cyl)

I mostly do model T and TT vehicles and post on the T section.
I have a 32 BB wood bed truck that I parked in a dry garage in 1958 (was My dad's truck) I am sure the engine will need a total...

Re: Looking for Model T for wife. Prices seem a lot higher than expected. Why?

Royce, those kerosene side lights made me think the car was one of those "Poor boy specials" without an electric starter and generator. I did not think his wife would like that. After looking at...

Re: How smooth should tranmission drums be?

There is a cam on the bottom of the brake and reverse pedal. The reverse usually does not wear much because of little use, but the brake cam on the pedal can wear to the point that it does not move...

Re: Aussie T member request for assistance

Usually the coils need setting and inspection, not the coil box. Some time the coil box does short out, but I do not know of a tester for the actual box?????

Re: how often should the carbon be cleaned from the head?

Taking the cylinder head off and cleaning carbon was something done in the early days of Model T.
The very poor quality gas was supposed to be the cause of the problem. Our current gas should not be...

Re: Ring and pinion placement

Just do a mental picture of the shaft turning in the same direction as the crank.(reverse pedal reverses the revolution)
Turning in a clockwise direction as the crank does, this pushes down on the...

Re: 1920-25 1/2 scale model t build

Hill, sounds like a great project. I could not start to do a scale car. Restoring is a lot easier.
Dual rear wheels on a T or TT almost never happened. I have seen a dual rear wheel adapter kit for...

Re: Real Model T Boat-tail Speedster

My first thought was "What is unusual about a boat tail speedster"?
I was not thinking a part of a real boat.
I like it.
