Has anyone seen one of these banjo wheels without the little ears or button shaped risers that are usually above and below the horn button?? Made for out-of-counrty models? Early re-pop?

Not sure if the threads want to be oiled or dry when torque-ing, or if that is even a factor, but it seems like that may affect it. Maybe someone here has better information on this.

Taken off of my 39 pickup build which was a nice truck when I started.
They seem to work, they have resistance, are not stuck, and I hear oil squishing around inside when I move...

Lower casting number is 78-7006-17
