Re: carb question

K, I will post some photos tonight of the air cleaner and carb. I will look for the spacers as that may be the route I can go. I have not check yet to see how much clearance I have between the hood...

I have two prof. rebuilds and two I did. Mine leak but the prof. ones don't-go figure. Many miles on both.

Re: KRW Combination Machine

You can call Tim McMaster who has his own machine shop in the central valley -Fresno I think. But you can find him on the web as 'the Y-block guy' he does some A engines but I don't know how much.

Re: The absolute 'MINIMUM' cylinder wall thickness....

OK, I am not a machinist by any stretch of the imagination. But, even to me when dad said the Model A could be bored to .125 that was way to big for me. I 'think'-and this is my opinion-if you stick...

I have had .125 in one of mine before. Don't recommend it but it worked.

Re: Straightening up a couple of Model A's (Advice needed)

Yep, I have to agree with the others. If both cars have curved window tops then they are Murry's. If one has square windows then it is a Briggs and nothing will interchange after the A pillar. But...
