Just remove the mechanical pump. They make a nice little aluminum cover that closes off the opening on top of the engine. As long as it is a low pressure pump like 2-3 psi area you should be fine.

Why run both? Wouldn't it make more sense to just let the electric pump run while whenever the key is on? I removed my mechanical pump and put in a low pressure K&N fuel pump and it seems to run just...

I went with Monroe 32207, according to their website this is the correct length. Should be in this week.

Guys what is the compressed and uncompressed length of the rear shocks on a 48 f1 truck? I want to order some but not 100% sure. Was going to order Monroe 32207 but want to make sure first. Thanks....

Joe I used a k and n electric fuel pump on my 8ba build a couple years back, don't remember the exact model but it was a very low flow unit.

They have a lot of torque hence the reason for thinking of putting one in. But those A frames are pretty tiny!

My exhaust manifolds on my 8Ba are cracked and in bad shape. Are they known for breaking upon removal or do I have a chance at getting these out with minimal problems? Anyone have a suggestion?...

Yeah good question and also if guys would have a part number for what to look for. Rockauto has some really good prices on shocks.
