You're right the hose listed is too short. My NAPA counter man (worth his weight in gold) found one that fits PERFECTLY! NAPA # 26960.

Guys, I've been told that my '39 1/2 Ton should have a unique to '39 transmission shift rod. Is this so? If so, is this readily available somewhere or do I have to have mine bent?

Thanks for all the comments. To get the blue V-8 symbol painted, I applied a fairly thick layer of paint that would "set inside" the stamping, not paying too much attention to the lines at that...
