1928 drip rail color

In the process of painting early 28 tudor sedan. I have not found a positive answer as to the color of the drip rail, is it body color or black to match the top

They are for the rivets as Pat indicates to secure a heavy piece of webbing to prevent the spring from rubbing the plate

Zenith carburator

I came across a Zenith Carb that has the letter "G" just above Zenith. It also has an adjustment on the main jet in place of the plug. Anyone know anything about this carburator?

Tom, know your frustration in buying a piece of pig iron. I generally pick up one side about 2" and let it drop on concrete, if it rings it's probably not cracked, if it has a thud sound it's cracked

Under the seat, with that said, I have a 5" PVC tube with end caps, I roll my curtains up and store them in the shop. When traveling I put them in the bed.

Purchase from a aircraft supply PRC tank sealant. It is a two part compound and cures semi hard. I have wire brushed the mount, cleaned it with vinegar, applied a thin layer and it does take paint....
