Brake and clutch pedal arms bending

For comfort sake I would like to change the pedal angle but don't know if I can heat and bend or have to cold bend the pedal arm, which is safest way to go?

I used a heat gun, small putty knife and box cutter blade. Worked great.

I suppose my first step should be to do a thorough lapping job and see whats what. I wanted to be prepared with a slightly bigger valve just in case. Thanks for the response.

Unfortunately the math does add up, I could buy restored Model A's all day for less than $20,000 but well done hotrods are $20,000 and up.

Oddly enough my 31 Tudor has a hole on the right side as well, previous owner had put in an adjustable vacuum switch for the passenger side wiper motor. It looks like it belongs there.

I see now that Bratton's sells chrome plated die cast arms, I guess my question now is were the Ford production arms always stainless steel on the 30 and 31?

Were these an aftermarket item for 1930/31 ?? All I have ever seen in catalogs are stainless steel. Thanks, Bud.
