Re: 1931 Coupe doors

Appreciate the info, I figured the Coupe's doors were unique to themselves. Any tips on where to find Coupe doors? I have checked craigslist and ebay with no luck so far!

Anybody know of a good place to search for doors? Need both sides. Recently picked up a 31 Coupe and it came with sedan doors which don't line up correctly.

Also, what is the best way to identify...

Re: John Dillinger 1930 Model "A" Ford Coupe

I'm a Dillinger buff so I have done lots of research on this.

While this car matches the FBI file on both engine number and frame number of the car Dillinger stole, everything else has been...

Re: Update on my 30 Coupe

Thanks. Yeah I can't believe this car doesn't have any rust spots or dents. There are a few cracks and a few small dings in the fenders but other than that it is completely straight.

Re: Update on my 30 Coupe

Thanks 700, appreciate it. One thing I have learned so far is that these cars are genuinely pretty reliable if you are knowledgeable about how they should run. A guy at my local Model A shop told me...

Re: Update on my 30 Coupe

I have had more comments on those rims and tires than anything else on the car. Obviously that is the only thing that didn't come original, but they sure look and drive nicely :D

Update on my 30 Coupe

I thought I would give an update because I am so excited about the car.

Just a reminder, I purchased an all original 1930 Model A coupe about 3 weeks ago in Montana. The car sat in a barn from...

Re: 1929 Truck Conversion ~ Updated with Pictures ~

I enjoy hearing about the history of these conversions. While they don't hold too much value in the "enthusiast" category, I am still glad I have it. I might just fix a few things on the body (door...

Re: 1929 Truck Conversion ~ Updated with Pictures ~

I actually have the rear fenders, they just aren't installed on the truck. Both fenders are in pretty good shape too.

Re: 1929 Truck Conversion ~ Updated with Pictures ~

Yep, my idea is to leave it alone cosmetically aside from a few minor things. I really want to focus on making it mechanically reliable and fun to drive. It doesn't look bad converted to a truck...
