OMG ! Do you have a nick name of "Super man?" I would have saved the chassis and scrapped the body. You are sumpin else to attempt that project.

When I did mine , I did the same as Lawson. Cut off the heads and weld them to new bolts. Now, if you knew a buddy with a Bridgeport mill, you could make the head then use a small end mill to cut out...

Up until 1936 ,the Ditzler color chart I have shows 10 different shades of green. I would expect some of those carried over to 1940 as well.

I like to look at old cars as rolling IRA'S, certainly better that the market at present ? I find my pleasure in collecting "Dust" at the moment, plenty of it available and not expensive here either !

Here are pictures of another NOS, never mounted. US ROYAL. Tag fell off but mark is still there. Just more decoration in the "Station" :)
