I guess I don't understand, I thought that the part your talking about is for a manual throttle, like to warm up the engine and the bell cock side (passenger side) is for he gas pedal?????????????...

I also have Stromberg 81s, Large Logo Rebuilt and ready for rebuild, lots of them. I have several different types of Flathead...

Thought you Y block people would like this setup..I'm just about finished with it..I have to cut excess linkage off to give a little better appearance. What I like about this is it looks old...

The jets should be .035 and the power valve .071..The base of the 81 should have EE 7/8 due to small ventures. The accelerator pump is small then the 48 and 97..The throttle shaft is the same as 97s...

I know they ran w/o floats on some engines..So pressure wouldn't make much difference..

I have been using adjustable jets on multiple setups..sure beats changing out jets to figure out what is best..To each his own..Whats good for the goose my NOT be good for the gander..I think thats...
