40 ford shift rod clip in steering column

In the top of the steering column, the shift lever rod has a clip to hold the rod up. The clip resembles a small horse shoe style clip. I don't have the clip, does anyone know the correct name for...

Overdrive Transmission

50-52 Ford Flathead Overdrive Transmission. Gears are in very good condition,
Solenoid is there, but trans has been sitting a long time. Speedometer gear is there with part of the cable.

29 front crossmember

My 29 tudor front crossmember bolts to the frame. Were all the A's crossmembers fastened with rivits or did someone before me bolt this in for some reason.

Early 50,s 3 speed overdrive tansmission. Trans has been in garage for many years, was supposed to go in a 52 ford, flathead. Trans has solenoid and govenor, removed cover, very good gears, no rust...

The lever looks something like the one on the shifter. It was dark in the car, I'll have a better look and try the H pattern Saturday morning.

I found 2 sheets of wet / dry sand paper, 400, rolled up inside the headliner channel over the right door. The car had the original paint until the recent body work.
