Re: Relocate battery in ‘35

If I recall correctly, my 35 3 window carried the battery under the floor boards, just in front of the drivers seat. I would have to guess everything necessary to move it to a similar position is...

35 Ford 2 door sedan internal door latch assembly

I am looking for a complete, drivers side, internal door latch assembly. Everything from and including the triangle at the inside door handle to and including the latch. I would consider the right...

Re: interior door release transfer bar and clips

Thanks Deuce Lover. I knew mine was worn, but I didn't think it to be that bad. I have found replacement studs, but no bars, yet.

Re: interior door release transfer bar and clips

Thanks Ggmac, but I am asking what keeps the transfer bar on the stud? As I said, I found some kind of pin or a piece of one, on the floor. But all I have at the door is what you see. A transfer bar...

Re: interior door release transfer bar and clips

The first photo is the end i am referencing. The second is the other end of that transfer bar. The third is the same position, on the passengers side. What holds the bar in place? Is there something...

interior door release transfer bar and clips

While removing the door cards from the drivers door of my 35 Slant back, a small, "pin", and washer fell to the floor. It was learned they may retain the transfer bar at either end. The one nearest...

Re: Stories from the past

I was 14 when my dad said I could have the 51 4 door deluxe to play with. I did. The next year, my brother-in-law sold me his 53 club coupe for $10. Both of them would up being towed to the scrap...

Re: dual master cylinder

My bad, I should have been more specific. When I said a, "Normal" place, I meant, as in today's cars.

What car? I have a 35 2 door slant back and a twin pot mounted in a relatively normal place above the steering column. Sorry, I can't post pics.

Re: seat belts 40 coupe

I second the use of the longer ones. 5 feet, (60 inches), isn't much when it has to run from the floor up and across the seat and someone in it and back down to the floor. Remember, there is always...

Re: LED bulbs

It's good to know they have them for 6 volt units. The last time I messed with them, (about 6 years ago), It was hard enough to find 12 volt units that would plug into the sockets. Thanks for the...

Re: 1935 tudor slant back seats

For those who want to see pictures of the seats, go to Face Book and find 1935-1940 Fords group or Hot Rod 35-36-37-38-39 Fords and search for the Jan 24 postings. I have a few pictures on both pages.

Re: LED bulbs

Just remember, when you use LEDs for turn signals, they work much better with the proper flasher unit. The flashers are easy to get. Any truck stop or truck supply outlet will carry the correct one....
