49 50 Ford Car Heater

Have a heater that I believe is for 49-50 cars. Not a truck heater. I got this one with a box of parts and was taken apart. Case appears to be rust free and in solid shape. Fan turns by hand but...

Re: 52 F-1 Panel (Ruffus)

Gas tanks are one of the hardest items to find for these old panels. Even if you have a good clean tank the pickup tube inside it really needs to be redone and moved towards the front. We like to...

Re: help with fuel line routing on a 34

Thanks also for these pics as I was looking for the same info. Pic #2 has me wondering if the fuel line is rubbing the edge of the hole as it goes inside the side rail. Maybe it is the camera angle.

Re: 1952 F-1 Master Cylinder Diagram:

Can't take a pic right now but the pedal end of the spring hooks onto the groove of the pushrod pivot pin and the other end hooks into a hole in the starter plate.

Re: F-1 3 Speed Trans help

You will have to replace the shaft as it will be worn along with the bushings so I cut the shaft in half with a grinder. I find it easier to remove the pin in the fork with it out of the trans.

Re: F150 trans pictures

I would imagine you could. The rear mount off an F1 truck would bolt in place of the early torque tube mount. The trans output shaft would need to be modified for the speedo and may need to be...

Very nice looking panel. Looks to be really nice in all the tough areas. I have built a couple panels and still have a 51 and a 52. Where in Colorado are you located? Welcome to the barn.
