Just an ole wive's tale.

If they broke off at the bellhousing because of a stand, there would be pics of them broken and on the ground beside the stand.

Width depends on stance and front height.

Rears are not as important, but if you don't get the fronts right, it looks like a turd.

I run 8/s and 6/s on my 28 pickup, but it is modified, so...

I have done several cars in lacquer colour then 2K cleared over.

No problems even years later.

As this is obviously not recommended by suppliers, my own judgment was to leave the lacquer for...

My pilot engine has locked big end inserts.

I am yet to find if all or only some or none have these .

Mine could have had a crank change .

Will be very curious as to whether this ...

And i believe that a 221 pilot engine is far superior to a USA 221 engine.

OK this engine I bought was under bonnet, has bypass oil filter, , complete , clean oil, turns freely, 59000 miles on clock, pulled out, ready to pick up $500.

It is complete otherwise if you need any parts and in very good condition.

Located in Molong NSW.

They ran a 221 21 stud...

When I did mine, after the two halves are in, I got a wide wood wedge and prised the glasses sideways into their channels, so the centre bar would fit .

I use 7 and I have never seen such a classic tan as these. and I run normal unleaded with a valve saver additive.

Sounds like you want to do it on the cheap., or you would just buy a dropped axle and bolt it in.

You can easily re-arch the front main spring leaf the opposite way in a shop press to...
