Re: Rumble Seat Deck Lids 30-31

Re: Generator Operation

Model A generators have an adjustable 3rd brush that you need to manually adjust often for the output required. Daily perhaps. Sounds like you just need to turn it up higher when headlights are on. ...

Re: Excessive right front tire wear?

I was also wearing out only one front tire. It turns out the camber was out due to the axle being bent at some time. I took it to an "old time" alignment shop and they were able to bend the axle to...

Thanks
Greg

Re: tillotson float level

Mr Texas has a great website for Tilly's. I have my float set about 1 1/8+ due to the ethanol fuel boiling, it might help a little but doesn't cure it.

Re: Cracked rear motor mount

Mine was cracked like that and I had a buddy tig it for me. Grind a V into the crack and weld it up. It will be stronger than original if done correctly.

Re: Cutout sticking

Thanks for all of the replies! I would like to keep the original cutout and will try to get it working correctly. I'm not opposed to running a diode cutout but sure hate to cut up an original part....

Re: A question about a 29 std coupe vs 5 window coupe.

So they went from a "coupe" to a "special coupe" then back to a "coupe"? Did they use the distinction of "sport coupe", "business coupe", "special coupe" in '28 and '29 or did they just go by number...
