Thanks to all that replied, this is my dad's model t and for a 82 year old he drives it almost daily to coffee , car shows etc., just trying to keep up with general maintenance for him,

Farmallcub49, Thanks for the answer, this truck has a license plate bracket below the crank handle and a straight bar between the lights, would that possibly make it a late 1926?

Steve J. thanks for the help, I don't mind the hard work or the cussing as long as I know what I should be doing, my dad is 82 years old and will help but I try to keep him from a lot of tough labor...

guys, the u-joint is all new from Lang's it looks as if when you rotate it is taking the paint off the edges, I think it may just be crimped to tight, I thought about just wire brushing the painted...

Guy's thanks for the quick reply, well I set it at about 1 full turn and it fired right up and just purred, I will fine tune it later but one issue that came up is that the knuckle fitting does not...
