1950 Ford F1 top loader transmission

I drove this truck for a year with this transmission. It works well, no bad noises, no broken teeth. It sometimes came out of 2nd gear slowing down. It needs synchros and a going through. 1st gear...

1948-52 f1 spare tire carrier

I bought a new clutch and pressure plate from KYclutch. They look good. Will tell you in a couple of months how it works. They were good to deal with. Fast shipping.

10" Ford Tractor pressure plate

I have a new 10" Ford tractor pressure plate. It is the Long style with adjusting bolts on the fingers. The dimensions are the same as the pressure plate I took out of my F1. It does not have counter...

The clutch I just removed is 3 finger Long style but without the adjusting bolts on the fingers. I was surprised to see that because the truck sat for years in a barn, and the PP has heat cracks and...

where to buy a quality 10" clutch?

Has anyone bought a good quality 10" pressure plate and clutch disc? The one I pulled out of my truck is cheap, worn out and foreign made. I don't have a core so send to the rebuilder.

Thanks for all the ideas. I'm going to shorten the big top links to tighten it up. If it still bothers me, add some sort of rubber bumpers.

My 1950 f1 tailgate rattles like crazy. Do I have to cut and weld the large top links to tighten it up? Bob
