If it were me, I would make sure the rocker arm assemblies are ok,
check the valve clearances, and check compression. Hope this helps.

Im with flathead fever. Use a pump with the correct pressure and maybe put a guage in line to check the pressure.

Was told by Victor at Red,s headers that they fit 54 car only.
They were made pre 1998 because it has the for script...

Make sure your idle speed is not too slow. Try disconnecting the output
wire with the engine at idle and see what voltage you have at the generator.
