The "bung" has a tube attached on it's bottom that extends to almost the bottom of the tank. It sucks the gas up to the bung where you will attach the fuel line. Ford used an odd size compresson...

Very adviseable to run tubes in early wheels. The rims do not have a "safety bead". Under low air pressure the tire can slide or fall off the rim.

Wanted: 1940 Ford Windshield Wiper tower "U-shaped" brackets that bolt to the bottom of the tower and hold it in place in the cowl. I prefer to reply thru Ford Barn. Thank you.

Excellent. They probably provide the panel for Drake and Carpenter. I just finished using one of there panels and was extremely please with the quality, fit and price. What more can I say ?
