I beleive that this is a bit far fetched as there is no superheated steam involved and further to that, hot caustic tanks are the norm in the engine rebuild industry for cleaning.

The main reason why engine builders use it as well as myself, is that it is very easy to spot foreign particles. To spot foreign particles on oiled cast iron is difficult because it is black....

Removing Engine Sludge. When dismantling an old or used engine, to be repaired or worked on, the accumulated sludge and combustion by products inside the engine are always a problem to clean at home....

What works for me is: Leave the wheel ON, it must stay on and have the weight of the vehicle on it, remove the nut and put it back on upside down or use a non castelated nut just proud of the axle...

The issue with the chassis mounted front is that it is solid. Any twist forces in the chassis will be transfered into the engine and will give problems in the long term. A three point engine mounting...
