Thanks, I can see it. You did good to get a picture, I can’t even see with my flashlight. Dropping the wife off at the craft show then headed home to do some of my own crafting. Thanks

Re: 1936 driver side door latch

My spring was broken, have two, now one new one because I over loaded , as usual for me. Can’t determine what keeps the coiled spring in place behind the striker. I’ve googled pictures, dropped the...

Re: 1936 starter button HOT!

Thanks, for this answer. I disconnected battery roadside, new button will be here today. Hope I didn’t do something stupid to cause this, like resting my foot on the button. Greg

Re: Carb questions

I know. Mikes helped me more than once with the 1936. The car I’m fooling with now is a conglomeration and my learning has slowed on this 1940,39, 53, 36 mixture. Still fun though. Took the other 94...

Re: Critique this '34

Thanks for confirming the color. I was sure that was it, late April color added I believe. The car has several car show decals on the firewall from the early 80’s. I think that was when it was redone.

Help with engine Id

Hello, I finally picked up some parts thrown in on a trade. The engine on the stand is a 1946? Says 59Ab. Color appears Mercury? Is the tag a rebuild tag? The frame on the other is pretty shot. I’m...

Re: BIG SHOCK on display engine

Lawson would be a lot richer if he charged more for parts. Thanks for the intake, cleaned up fine and fixed a lot of issues. Greg Kirkland
