Ammco 4181 Reference Chart

I recently purchased an Ammco 890 Brake Shoe Arc Grinder, with the 8250 shoe clamp. I'm in need of the #4181 Reference chart they tells you what gauge plates to use for specific brake shoe designs....

This is accurate. You can rebush a Model T front end for under $200 in parts. You'll be blown away by how nice it drives after. A Model T front end in good condition shouln't need a steering damper.

Have you removed the drain plug on the carburetor bowl and verified that you have fuel flowing to the carburetor?

I would definitely advise returning the magneto to proper operating condition (unless you're trying to build a hot-rod T). They run much better on magneto when all is in good condition.

Never hurts to use copper spray on a copper "sandwich" style head gasket. However, do not use copper spray on modern silicone impregnated head gaskets. They already have sealant built into them.

A "Tour Grind" cam can make a big difference. Before you got for expensive and highly involved modifications make sure you have the basics covered. When was the last time you had your coils...

I run either Anco Flapper style timer or crystal timer. Both work great and have toured many miles with both. In my customer cars I install Ancos.
