8ba cooling question

Could the crossover pipe and manifold heat valve make the left bank run 8 to 10 degrees hotter than the right? Stats are tested and system in proper shape afaik.
Also, how should the weight be...

Take the rad. cap off and check for bubbles in the coolant before it boils over. Doesn't that indicate a head gasket problem?

@rotorwrench. Thanks for the explanation. That's some eye opening automotive theory. Tradeoffs in everything. I certainly will factor that into my driving habits and keep the brakes in top shape.
