Re: New Tire Recommendation
My truck had been running on Brazilian made Goodyears from 1978 when I brought it home. I like the diamond tread pattern, but the price of new Goodyears is prohibitive so I opted for European...

Re: Replacing rear motor mount
Yes, That's how I did mine, however I had to put a bottle jack and a 4x4 across to spread the frame a tad to fit the new ones in. Once I got started I replaced both sides and the result is vastly...

Re: What the...Nokia tyres ???
You may want to take a look at the European Classic tires. Just put 2 on the front and really like how they look and a short drive around the neighborhood ran smooth. Also used a Delrin sleeved lug...

Re: Carburator Update
You may want to take a look at your adjusting needle O.D. I had the same issue and ended up using my old needle.426024

Re: 1931 ccpu
You may want to check with local auto glass shops as some may have old patterns lying around.
I had to replace an original drivers window in my 82A CCPU after it broke going down a pothole filled...

Re: Carb Adjusting Needle O.D. Dimension
Thanks Tom,
I tried oil on the shaft and it was still bound tight so I used another needle that I had lying around and it is working but loose.
Wondering what the original dims were that Ford used.

Re: Exterior handle ID
Check the major suppliers - i.e. Snyders, Brattons, Berts, etc.
Very similar to the handles on my 29 CCPU.
Ford used this style handle on 26-27 Model T and 28-29 Model A CCPU's
