Find somebody with a bore scope or buy a cheap one from ebay and pull a spark plug and
have a look and pull the oil fill tube and peek around in there.

Jay Jay,
Are you looking for the V-8 clutch? If so Dennis Carpenter or Mac Van Pelt for them.
If your going to re-drill for the diaphragm clutch its from a 2.3 Ford Ranger.

Its probably a cast iron guide. You can knurl the outside to tighten them up.
Works great. It may seem hard but they knurl easily.

When you took the baffle out did you pry it out on either end or did you do the drop the pan on the ground and pop it out?

When they get pry out on the ends it bends the tray and the rods hit,...

I'm using a Rover 4cyl. dist. with vacuum advance. You can get them with points or
electronic ignition. Easy conversion.
Carburetor is one of the new Stromberg 97's with a vacuum port.
