For the past few decades, I haven't used the engine powered fuel pump. It just isn't very reliable, so I've gone to an in tank electric, like the rest of the cars. Junk yards are full of them!!

Floating bearings
Tried to contact the fellow that ask me to help him but no luck The flathead engine had floating bearings up untill 48
They came on 2 sizes 32/38? not sure

The combustion chamber of these new heads are not that bad for a street engine, However the spark plug iz in the wrong place. Any place would be better than here.
