Re: 2024 EFV-8 Central National Meet Auburn Indiana

There's nothing like a Rouge vehicle to draw attention. Thanks for bringing it.

Re: Great Race

In June of 2022 the Great Race had an overnight stop in Duluth MN. It certainly was worth going to see the vehicles come in. I would recommend that if you have the opportunity to be there, do it.

Great guy. He used to send you the 3rd light as seen in reply #5 and then if it worked for you -- you paid him. If not, you sent it back.

Re: Changing of the Guard. A new breed of car nuts.

There is probably a bunch of us out there that have the opinion that we like all old cars, but there are only a few that we would like to own.
As someone who has put over 30,000 miles on his 1949...

Re: Seat Cover for 1935 Ford Pickup

Another option.
Check with upolstery shops in your city. The little ones. You will be surprised what they have stored away.

It worked for me.

Re: 51 wagon rear signal lights

Yes, to have turn signals on your woodie, you need the second (passenger side) tail light assembly.
Or adapt individual lights to be the turn signal lights. (like what you have shown in your photos)

Re: Off topic. Remember TV show Columbo?

Alan,
You missed your opportunity back in 1984. Universal Studios offered the Columbo car for sale back then according to the story.
You can read all about it in the June 2024 issue of Hemmings...

Re: 51 wagon rear signal lights

Not looking at the station wagon tail light brackets, the tail light housings, lens, and lens stainless rings are 1935-1936 Ford tail lights.
Do a Google search on 1949 Ford Station Wagon tail...
