That’s exactly what I want to do.
A plain steward and warner modern tach for a 12v flathead with a crab distributor
I guess 3500 max rpm is sufficient for a flathead?

I am looking for suggestions on what tachometer will work in place of the radio/ashtray on a 36 5w.
I am running a crab distributor, mild 255.

That’s what I thought.
The rear bumper brackets that are still on the frame are not touching the body at the back

There are two holes in the frame 2.5 inches apart, right where the cowl feet bolt to the frame. I always thought it was the rear two but now I’m thinking it might be the front two that the cowl bolts...

I am putting a 36 five window body on a 36 frame.
Does the cowl bolt to the front holes or the rear holes. It seems it needs to go to the front ones.
For the radiator I am thinking it should go to...

I am rounding up pieces to build a 31 pick up. I have a model A engine that is seized and rusty from the head being left off & outside.
I might’ve found a Model A engines and an B engine locally...

You probably never tried it.
The smallest bend in the flange will present its-self as a wobble.
A quick roll across a level clean floor will show what you have to start with.

If you find another rim practice on that one. Heavy deadblow hammer. Hit on the outside of the dent and work both ends towards the centre. Metal has memory and wants to go back to its original...

I think the overall appearance on the outside of the same. The holes are different with the handle I suspect, and maybe the bracing inside by the handle.

Does anyone have 36 pass body to frame pad kit instructions that they could share with me?
