Re: Reds Headers
After seeing your pics, I wouldn't use them. I've had many custom headers built over the last 50 years, and I wouldn't waste my time putting those on a car of mine if they were free.

Re: fordoor top question
Welcome to the barn dirtfarmer. I made bows for my fordor. Mine is a Briggs. The bows are more narrow in the front and get wider as you move towards the back.

Re: Windshield installation
Welcome to the barn. Awesome Hemi! The hinge attaches to the wood header above the windshield, Assuming the wood header is still there.

The Real McCoys
I recently viewed a rerun of The Real McCoys and saw the '31 Pheaton (Cal. lic. number LBV 179) used in the series, and am wondering if anyone might know what became of the car?

Re: Model A vs. Flathead quandry
I have two A's and a '41 Fordor. The '41 has a factory two-speed rear end, and is a comfort to drive. It would be difficult to choose. Sort of like having to choose which child you would keep.

Re: Manufacturing Mistakes
After a career in Engineering, I'm of the opinion that if you want to see something get fouled up, get humans involved with it.

Re: What is your collector car Pet Peeve?
He obviously wasn't in the real world mentally, because he thought he was driving a car without a head on the engine. There is probably a good reason that he lives at the end of a ten mile dirt road.

Re: cooling system
Keep in mind that 80 degree water will show vapor on a cold day. Be certain that it is steam, and not just vapor.
