37-40 steering box

I did notice your post in the forum also and you stated that you were putting it in a 36 coupe.
I'm quite sure that you'll have to do some work on the mount as the bolt pattern for the box is slightly different but definitely worth the trouble to upgrade.

If you have the junker, get the parts. I haven't had to do the worm but the taper bearings & cups, pitman bushings & seal as well as the shim/gasket pack. once you do it up right, you know what you have. I have a 37 box restored in my Av8, drives beautifully.
