FRENZEL SUPERCHARGER STOLEN!!!!!!! at EARLY FORD STORE OF CA A Frenzel Flathead Ford supercharger setup was stolen today from The Early Ford Store of California in San Dimas, Ca around 5:00pm today Tuesday Dec.21 2010. If you see one for sale it is most likely it. If you have any information, hear of it, or think you might know of it please let us know. If you have any information that leads to its return you will be rewarded!

Most people I've been associated with over the years would take the shirt off their back to help another. Sure hope our community can help get this back or at least prevent whoever did this from making money from the stolen item. I've seen post about cars being stolen also. So sad!

My fear however is that someone wandered in off the street and stole it for recycle value. This is what happened to a guy I know in the Northeast. Thieves broke into his shop / warehouse, stole several hundred pounds of valuable antique car parts, used a crow bar to tear the chrome grills off some vintage MGs (including irreplaceable and extremely rare pre-war grills), loaded it all into a beat up MGB that was in the shop and used it as a battering ram to break down the door and escape. The police finally responded to the alarm two hours later. Nothing was ever recovered.
It would be worth watching all the local recycling yards and offering a substantial reward for the blower's return. The owners often don't care about stolen goods so they need a good reason (read "money") to return the item and side-skirt a police report. |
