Spring May Have Arrived

I'm hoping that Spring may have arrived in Virginia. It was a balmy 35 degrees at 8:00 AM this morning, so I decided to take the Cabriolet to church. What a beautiful 50 mile ride, and now it's 65 degrees. I'm really looking forward to putting some serious miles in my Model A's this year.

33 deg. here is the Boston area, 5 ft. of snow still boarders our roads-hoping for a major melt down next week and maybe the A will come out on the weekend:confused:

42 here in CT today, but it feels like 65 after this winter! The snow IS melting, but we still have a long way to go. On a positive note being trapped inside has forced me to finish the other fender for my 29 tudor and I have epoxy primer on the top side.

BTW we have not had an earthquake. That is good old newengland frost! Thank god the patio is made of pavers that can move. It will settle back down when the frost melts. If it were concrete it would have been ruined!

Warm and balmy in the 40's here, but still plenty of snow in the yard.

My wife and I just took a ride out and along the foot hills of the Appellation Mountains north of Greenville, SC and back home to Spartanburg, SC. About a neat 75 mile country side ride in our '30 coupe. Temperature hear today was 68 to 70 degrees. We are originoally from Upstate NY, so we do know what the northern people have to put up with.

A warm Pacific pushed our weather to the east this winter. You folks out east might complain about the cold and snow but we need the cold and snow. Otherwise, there is little water in the mountains. Snow is needed for rivers, groundwater and snow pack. With this little snow pack we could be in for a helluva forest fire season this summer.

It was in the mid 60's here again today. I didn't take either of my A's for a ride but installed seat belts in the Cabriolet (it's finally warm enough to workmen the garage without gloves on).

Hey Stew,
Yeah, I feel the same as you. It was 96 inside my work shed yesterday and above 90 each day for past week. Got to pick some of that lettuce , as it's getting too big.

Never fear, in three months we will be complaining that it's too hot.
