1947 one ton pickup

Anyone have any picture of a 1947 one ton pickup. I found a barn find that was a original fire truck. Trying to see tail gate area. Does not have rear bumper.
Thanks all and Happy New Year.

I can't help you with a 47 tonner photo, but can show you how I dealt with the rear bumper on my 40 tonner. I used a 48-53 F1 Rear Bumper and brackets from C&G Ford (Photos 1 and 2) There are bolt holes in the tonner frame that matched the bracket holes perfectly no drilling. I added a X brace of rectangular tubing to support a receiver for a Class "A" hitch which has come in handy for pulling floats in parades. In photo 3 you can see a step and kick plate that was added to cover up the gap, mount the license plate and backup light, and make it easy for my grandkids to hop over the tailgate. From C&G's current catalogue I used the plane metal bumper (bottom one) without the indent. http://cgfordparts.com/ufolder/showp...3&g=293&t=1866
