lower radiator hose

I had to shift the engine over aprox 1/2 inch to clear the PS box. Now the lower radiator hose doesn't line up very well. I have the stock hoses on, but don't like the fit. In an attempt to purchase 1 3/4 X 8 inch flex hoses, I find then impossible to find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Ol' Ron

Mac's offers 12"x1 3/4" upper Radiator hose #18-8260 @11.95 that you can cut to length needed.

Summit Racing has a Dayco universal hose that is 1 3/4" X 8 5/8". The Dayco number is 81291. They are $9.97 each. I hope this helps Ol' Ron. This stuff is getting harder to find.

And they show it being in stock, too.

Well I have to thank youse guys for coming through for me. I know it wasn't just because I have bad eyesight, I had help from several people with very good vision. I think the problem is with the webs sited and their search feachers. I had gone to Summit and never saw the hoses the offered, another problem is they may give the length in the photo they don't give the dia. you have to search for it. The same goes for all the auto suppliers.. I will also check the Merd lower hoses as well
By the way, I may be going in for a Cataract operation in December. Not sure if that will help Macular degeneration, but I'll take it.

Had the cataract surgery in both eyes. Easy surgery (out patient) and a wonderful outcome. Good luck!

Same with me! And now, I can get by with a set of $20 "cheaters" from the drugstore, not $700 custom jobs from the eye doctor!

Carquest 21236 radiator hose, it is a moulded hose, and it has a spot in it that has the right jog. Just cut off the part you need. Worked great for my AV8.

Good luck with the cataract surgery Ol Ron. My wife had it done a few years back and it made a big improvement in her vision. I wonder now why she is still with me now that she can see.

Ron, try not to use those flex hoses, they put a lot of pressure on the radiator outlets, ive had then crack the soldered joints at the radiator tanks, the flex hose when bent to fit the radiator is always trying to straighten out and putting pressure on the outlets

I went to my friendly NAPA store and got the "formed" offset lower radiator hoses made by Goodyear! They should work perfect for you I think.

Got a part number for those?
The Carquest ones I have work good, but make sure your belt is tight, mine got a little loose and the slop was just enough to start cutting into the bottom hose.
Not a problem if belt is adjusted properly.
I'm just wondering if the NAPA ones have more offset.

My Dad was an electrician and he had his safety glasses made with the bifocal on top and bottom with his regular prescription in the middle.
