1932 Steering coulmn lock sleeve?

I am rebuilding a 32 pickup and the sleeve that goes on the steering shaft that the column drop lock pin drops into is missing. I got a 36 shaft but when I got apart the sleeve is so rusty that it is unusable. I have been looking on line for a replacement but can't find any listed in the parts places. Do any of you early 30's V8 guys know of any one reproducing this part? It attaches to the steering shaft with two inset screws. Thanks, Curt

Not a reproduced part. Try Fred at Southside Auto in Minn., he has a website and posts here frequently. He has a stock NOS Ford parts.

Found one!!! Just in case you also need one, the Early Ford Store in California has some on the shelf.

Be a bit careful with those guys. Couple of things went badly where a wheel was cracked beyond repair and the price was pretty retail. The were not gracious when I brought it back the same day. Finally refunded after too much dancing around. Went back out there with the report of a '47 unstrument bezel. What they had with broken pins that were beyond repair for most guys without hard solder skills. They recommended JB weld. Good Luck with that: Fred A
