40 deluxe hood help
 

I'm doing a 40 deluxe basket case, I have the hood release handle and the safety latch. I am missing two springs, and some braces, and have no idea how it all goes together. A picture, or drawing of the latch assembly would be a big help. It makes a restoration a lot harder when you are not the one who took it apart,

Chuck, Bob Drake has a picture in his 2013 catalog page 66 for 40 standard and pickup, and 40 deluxe he also sells kits with springs, braces, hardware, with installation instructions. You could try his web site to see if you could down the load diagram or call and ask them to e-mail it to you if you don't have a catalog .
