Barn Finds still exist 3 Attachment(s)
Wow am I lucky. Found this 4 dr or town sedan this weekend in the Nashville area. It was put into this lean too shed open in the front, 8 years ago. It was purchased by a remote family member in Florida in 1986 and they intended to fix up, but never drove it. It was rolled into this shed in 2004.
Attachment 103167 I pulled all four plugs and poured in oil then actually was able to turn over the engine surprisingly easily. Attachment 103169 I need to check numbers and I am not that familiar with determining if this is a four door or a town sedan. Not sure how old the upholstery is, but wierd how it has all faded to this consistent green color. Attachment 103168 I will pick it up in the next few weeks and bring back to Georgia. |
Re: Barn Finds still exist Nice find, Can't wait to see and here more...

Re: Barn Finds still exist Based on the middle arm rest and the dome light location I say Town sedan.

Re: Barn Finds still exist That interior is interesting. Through the window picture it looks blue but once the doors opened it looks green.

Re: Barn Finds still exist GREAT find!
....and the interior is even color coordinated with the engine color. :D Fordially, Brad in Maryland |
Re: Barn Finds still exist Just one word...Sweet!

Re: Barn Finds still exist There was a dark green interior option on the Town Sedans.

Re: Barn Finds still exist Mine was green mohair. Nice find if the wood is good!

Re: Barn Finds still exist 1930 Town Sedans had green Mohair and the 1931 Town Sedans had tan mohair

Re: Barn Finds still exist Also looks to be a Murray Body

This looks to be green velour circa 1960's. However it appears the headliner MAY be the original "green" napped cotton. Looks like fun! https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attach...8&d=1350434260 |
Re: Barn Finds still exist I also have only one word - jealous!

Re: Barn Finds still exist Definitely a 30-31, very lucky find
congrats!! TD |
Re: Barn Finds still exist My vote is for a Town Sedan too. I have a 1931 with an older replacement interior that's not as nice this one. Congratulations.
