1936 Speedometer / Odometer Question

My speedometer never did work so I bought another one from ebay.
The problem started when I took the face glass off and cleaned it. I also wiped the face of the speedometer with a dry soft cloth. the whole row of numbers on the odometer smeared beyond recognition.
Anyone know where I can get odometer numbers for a Waltham or the full set of wheels for the odometer. (No luck on ebay, Mac's, Bob Drake or Early Ford)
Waltham Is out of business.

Re: 1936 Speedometer / Odometer Question

I am not aware you can get the proper color numbers and background. Look at model A speedometer parts, also I think they are made for 1940 speedos. It is a pain to apply, to cut between the numbers and to get the numbers applied in the proper place so they show properly in the window. On the wheels for the numbers is a ratchet device that advances the next number wheel, they get stuck and hang up. Best to have someone with a lot of experience do the job and have it come out properly.
