In this photos are my grandmother and two uncles (finally he has 6 children). The oldest child that appear in it photo is alive (Agustín Pirolo).
Look the details of the white ring embebed in the wheels.

Place: Punta Lara, Buenos Aires Argentina
Date: Febrary 1927

Car: Ford T Touring 1925

They look like white walls but they are all different widths. In photo 1 the rear stripe is wider than the front and in the center photo you can see the inside of the left front tire and it looks white from the thread to the rim. Nuts. eldany: you sure Grandad wasn't a tire salesman displaying the latest products on his car?

These may be all white tires that are very dirty - not uncommon for the white rubber to turn dark quickly. Possibly someone painted the tires black to make them look more up to date for the time. Black tire paint was common for years. The "white walls" could be from scrubbing a curb or the edge of ruts in the road. The left front tire looks all white & may be fairly new.

In any case it is a great car & a great set of pictures.
