Helping Identifying a wiper bushing
 

My truck did not come with a wiper system and I have everything to go in it and just realized I'm missing this bushing. Can anyone identify it? Thanks

Many of the wiper repair people have parts and they probably have that one.

Bob Drake has them for his wiper kits , he may sell them separately.

I do not believe that is a Ford part. it is used to modify the tower so a more modern arm can be attached. If you remove it you should be able to use the 1940 style wiper arm and the nut that attaches it to the 40 tower. It would help if you mention the year of the vehicle!

It appears that after determining what dia. your shaft is, you may need something like this.------

mobebk: Your wiper does not look like the picture above, as far as the wiper attachment is concerned. The wiper pictured uses an early arm that fits into a small hole on the end of the shaft. Your arm uses a nut to secure the arm to the shaft,(no hole) much like 40 Fords. Look in Mac's catalog at the various arms. slide the adaptor off the end of your shaft and under you should see teeth to hold the 40 style arm in position and the 40 style nut should hold the arm to the teeth. Is your vehicle a Ford? What year??

There is no hole at the end. It is threaded and I have the top bolt for it. this is for a 1937 ford truck. The description of the wiper motor I bought was:

1938 1939 Ford Truck Trico NORS Wiper Motor Vacuum NIB OEM KSB-384-1G 1937?

I'm going crazy trying to figure out which wiper arm to get now. I've bought 2 sets and neither seems to work. My wiper motor looks like the picture. Ive bought 2 wiper arms now and ran out of ideas. please help. thanks in advance

The shaft on my 1939 PU looks like yours with the hex shaft. The bolt on wiper arm that I have is knurled on the inside. If I have the nut tight enough, the wiper cleans the windshield. As time goes by, I think that the nut loosens and the motor shaft spins inside the wiper arm. Since the shaft is so small I hesitate to put umpf on the nut. I too, would like to get the proper arm. Maybe some silicon caulking compound will fill the gaps.

At this point if your wiper shaft does not have the knurled end that will hold the wiper from rotating when the nut is tightened, you may want to contact:
