So, what's with the "Roaming Gnome"?
 

On BILL WZOREK's thread "So how many miles did you drive in 2013" (here: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=131050) after I reported an estimated 17,000 miles last year another great driver, Fibber Mcgee, who drove 9-10,000 miles, suggested that I was like the travel gnome from Travelocity. I liked the idea, particularly since I have Gnomes living in my back yard, so I adopted the "Roaming Gnome" as my avatar, at least for a while.

I know, probably not of general wide interest but someone may wonder.

The zip line is on another tree. This cable stretches across the yard to a huge branch of the Navaho Globe Willow that hangs over the house to keep it from falling on the house.

By the looks of your avatar I think you have some mischievous gremlin gnomes. These are a sub-specie of the traveling gnome. Keep a close eye when on your travels with Old Henry. There is no telling what these guys will do. They usually don't do anything serious. Just little things to slow you down.

Nothing special. Standard issue B.F. Goodrich Silvertown bias plies from Coker Tire. Get the "bias ply boogie" on the new grooved concrete freeways and any worn travel lane with any "ruts" in them from the big rigs. Driving snow pack is, as I describe on my last trip, like balancing something on your nose - can never take your eyes off the road for an instant and must be constantly correcting to keep from losing it.

My avatar is actually a close up of a "Biker Gnome" couple. As with most "bikers", probably not as evil or mischievous as they appear.
